Our mission is committed to improving the lives of underserved families by providing safe, enriching, and dependable services that strengthen children and stabilize households. We currently operate three core programs:

• Youth Enrichment Program providing academic support, recreation, and meals during afterschool hours.

• Summer Programing providing recreation, youth development, meals and crafts during the summer months.

• Human Services connecting residents with local resources and services.

• Community Awareness community events to bring services to those who are not aware of the resources that are available.

Our programming builds routine, trust, and stability for households under economic and emotional stress.

This report outlines the services provided to children and families through JK Reed Community Resource Center community-based programs. The data reflects our commitment to educational support, nutritional assistance, enrichment, and family engagement.

Impact Breakdown/ Outcomes

• Homework Assistance

  • 60+ children received academic support to improve performance and confidence in school.

• Summer Programming

• 60+ children received summer enrichment, youth development and a safe environment to learn, grow and play.

• Nutritious Meals Provided

  • 10,600 meals were served, ensuring children had access to healthy food options.

• Enrichment Activities

  • 156 enrichment activities thatfoster creativity, physical health, and social development.

• Educational Workshops

  • 3 workshops were held to support learning and personal growth for children and families.

Community Events

• 450 families participated in events designed to strengthen community ties and provide resources. (JK Reed CRC Community Outreach Day, JK Reed CRC Back to School Bash)

•  Community Engagement/ Referrals

  120+ Families were given resources and services to maintain a stable household

JK Reed CRC provides at least one consistent meal outside of school and during summer months to 90% of kids in our program.

Education and Enrichment Impact:

Each month we provide:

·       12+ hours of enrichment, art, crafts, and life skills learning

Kids regularly show better homework completion, increased school engagement and stronger confidence and social skills
